It's 10pm at the World Series of Poker Africa and there's a lot of action in the room.

Event #2: $580 No-Limit Hold'em Six Handed has just reached the final 18 players, and they are now re-drawing into the final 3 tables.

Meanwhile, the Mega Satellite is down to 19 players.  The field started with 90 entrants, and will award 4 $3,300 Main Event seats plus $2,077 cash for 5th place.

On our featured table, Event #1: $365 No-Limit Hold’em has just gone on break.  Only 6 players remain to fight for the World Series of Poker Circuit ring.  Here are current chip counts and results for the final table:

Registration is now closed for Event #2: $580 No-Limit Hold'em Six Handed.  There were 76 total entrants, creating a $38,000 prize pool.  The top 8 places will be paid, with a mincash worth $1,518.  First place will earn $12,920 plus a World Series of Poker Circuit ring.  Here are the full payouts:

The first Mega Satellite for this WSOP Circuit is now under way.  The megas cost $200, and give you 4,000 chips and 30 minute levels.  Registration is open until 7:40pm.

Event #2: No-Limit Hold'em Six Handed has just reached their first break.  There are currently 74 entrants, including Michael Mizrachi and Scotty Nguyen.  Registration is open for another 2 1/2 hours.

Meanwhile, Event #1 has just reached the final 18 players, and they have redrawn into two 9 handed tables. When they reach the final 10, we will be streaming live.  Payouts for the eliminated players will be posted shortly.

Event #2 is Under Way!


Event #2: No-Limit Hold'em Six Handed has just begun, and so far 62 players have signed up to win one of 6 rings awarded this week.  Registration will be open for 8 levels (approximately 6:15pm), so come down to the Emerald Resort & Casino to take your shot at a World Series of Poker ring!

Event #1 Is In The Money


The bubble has burst in Event #1 - $365 No-Limit Hold’em and all remaining 30 players are in the money, guaranteed at least a $565 payday.

In the bubble hand, a player was all in holding [As][Qh] against his opponent's [Ac][Ks].  When the flop fell [Ah][6h][Kc], the all in player was drawing to runner-runner.  The [8c] turn left him drawing dead, and he was sent to the rail when the [9d] hit the river.

Day 2 of Event #1 Has Resumed

The 43 remaining players from Event #1 have returned for Day 2, and cards are now in the air.  The blinds will begin and 1,000/2,000 with a 300 ante.

The top 30 players will earn at least $565, with 1st place earning the title and $20,018.  You can see the full payouts here.
